Edna Z. Mahmood, M.D.,
a glaucoma specialist, has been an integral part of Eye Consultants
of Pennsylvania since August 1981. She received her medical
schooling from Fatima Jinnah Medical College and completed her
straight ophthalmology internship at Ganga Ram University in
Pakistan. Her other qualifications include certification in
ophthalmology from Ganga Ram University Hospital, a rotatory
internship from Branson Hospital in Toronto, Canada, and an
ophthalmologic residency at McMaster Medical Center in Ontario. She
completed her Glaucoma fellowship with Dr. George L. Spaeth,
Director of Glaucoma Services, at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital
in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is Board Certified in Ophthalmology by The American Board of Physician Specialists.
Dr. Mahmood has
presented several papers at Wills Eye Hospital's Annual Conferences.
Dr. Mahmood has a highly successful glaucoma practice, offering the
full spectrum of
Glaucoma
related procedures. She is on the medical staff at
the Reading Hospital and
Medical Center, The Pottsville Hospital and Warne Clinic, and
Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
Dr. Mahmood is an
active member in the following organizations:
