Dr. Malstrom joined the practice after completing his residency at Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia. He grew up in Idaho where he attended Ricks College (a junior college where his father was a professor) and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He finished his Bachelor's degree Cum Laude In Psychology at Brigham Young University. His medical education was completed at Temple University School of Medicine.
He brings to our practice a wealth of experience in both the medical and interpersonal realms. He has spent time as a farm hand, lab assistant, youth counselor, white water river guide, and musician. Currently, he spends most of his free time with his wife, playing with their three children.
Dr. Malstrom possesses a broad knowledge of the assessment and treatment of the whole eye but has special interest in helping people see better through cataract surgery.
Dr. Malstrom is an
attending surgeon at the Pennsylvania Eye and Ear Surgery Center,
the
Reading Hospital and Medical Center, and the Limerick Surgery Center.
